Counting on the strategic support of the Municipality of Guimarães, there will be a number of textile companies and, among others, DGartes (The Directorate-General for Arts is a central department of the Portuguese Ministry of Culture whose mission is to coordinate and implement the policies in support of the arts in Portugal, with the top priority of promoting and defining the artistic creation, as well as ensuring the universality of the arts)

CONTEXTILE 2020 will once again occupy the various cultural spaces and public areas of the city, with the aim of introducing the best of contemporary textile art, in Portugal and worldwide.

Objective: to place textile art in the context of contemporary art … a great challenge!

Parola d’ordine: Divulgazione!
