Stefano Piperno was born in Rome on April 5, 1944 from a family involved in textiles for many generations.

 After his classical studies, he started working in the family business, then moving to Milan where he was involved in product development with particular attention to the creative aspects, for important companies in the home furnishing sector.

 He retired after fifty years spent in the world of fabrics and now makes his experience and personal relationships available to tell the close relationship between production and art, a union at the basis of cultures around the world since the dawn of civilization.
