CALL FOR ENTRIES: BIENNIAL TEXTILE OBJECT EVENT #4
La Manufacture organises the fourth edition of the Biennale Objet Textile. The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of contemporary textile design. 25 artists were invited to present their works in individual 10 m³ modules, showcasing their unique worlds.
A call for entries was launched on the theme of Monochrome.
The selected artists will have a specific space in which to create their ideal gallery to show their work and their unique world.
From 10 February to 31 March 2024, the biennial exhibition will take place throughout the museum. The theme of this year’s exhibition is Monochromatism.
The aim is to offer the public the opportunity to encounter this concept and deal with it through an overview of contemporary textile creation.
⇒ Two prizes will be awarded at the opening of the exhibition: one by La Manufacture, which will give rise to a solo exhibition in the museum’s 2025 programme, and one by the Lieux Communs gallery in Namur.

– The application must include:
– A note of intent (1 page maximum)
– A CV presenting the artist’s career
– A portfolio of the artist’s works
– The completed information form (Appendix 2)
– A high-definition (300 dpi) and royalty-free image of the work with caption and credits
A single pdf file containing all the documents.
