Dopo aver vissuto 12 anni nell’Africa Occidentale ed aver partecipato a numerose missioni con organizzazioni umanitarie, Hollis, designer e fotografa con oltre 35 anni di esperienza come artista professionista, crea scene di vita multiculturale, ricche di colore e magia, utilizzando la stoffa da lei dipinta ed aggiungendo profondità e dettagli con un uso sapiente del thread painting.

Osservando le sue opere si è catturati dall’espressione degli sguardi e dei volti che trasmettono emozioni a livello profondo e portano alla coscienza dello spettatore la necessità di preservare le risorse della Terra,, di rispettare le diverse etnie e le loro usanze che rappresentano i valori reali dell’umanità.

After living 12 years in West Africa and participating in numerous missions with humanitarian organizations, Hollis, designer and photographer with over 35 years of experience as a professional artist, creates scenes of multicultural life, rich in color and magic, using the fabric she painted and adding depth and detail with a wise use of thread painting.

Observing her works we are captured by the expression of looks and faces that transmit emotions at a deep level and bring to the consciousness of the viewer the need to preserve the resources of the Earth, to respect the different ethnic groups and their customs that represent the real values of humanity.
