Renata Pompas’ new course

An opportunity not to be missed for all weaving enthusiasts: the intensive course “Color in Weaving” by Renata Pompas, internationally renowned lecturer, author of best-selling books on color, textiles and fiber art, journalist, lecturer and speaker at international conferences. Organized by CIRT a.p.s. – International Textile Research Center.
A three-day journey to explore the color universe and its endless possibilities in weaving. The course deals with color in its three most significant aspects: concept, sensation, emotion and communication.

The teacher will guide participants through an absolutely unique and personal method, fine-tuned over many years of activity and comparison with different cultures and training methodologies, both Western and Eastern. Renata Pompas will offer a rich series of practical and engaging examples that will make the course dynamic and stimulating, encouraging learning and creativity.

The technique: “learning by doing” allows participants to put the notions learned into practice right away, consolidating them within a novel methodology, applicable in all projects. The course is not limited to providing only theoretical notions, but helps participants develop a personalized color style, free from imitation or imposition of trends, in line with their own tastes and sensibilities, in original color compositions.
