THE WAVES OF LIFE LE ONDE DELLA VITA – Damss (Daniela Arnoldi e Marco Sarzi–Sartori)

Installation: This installation is made up of 3 strips about 8 meters long which are assembled grouped, with wavy surfaces, supported by floating supports, forming sinuosities and hollows. The installation is made with the technique of knotting up to completely cover the plastic net support. The textile material used comes from industrial production waste, and is totally recycled.
Concept: Water tells and arouses thoughts and reflections.
As poets and artists we sing about the charm and emotions of water.
The music of the water ends on the shore and in the hearts of lovers, through the harmony of the waves.

La mostra vuole essere il riferimento contemporaneo alle scenografie create dai veneziani fratelli Mauro per il matrimonio di Odoardo Farnese e Dorotea Sofia di Neoburgo nella peschiera del Parco Ducale appositamente creata. Questo evento è descritto nel volume edito da Cariparma “Il DOVERE della FESTA. Effimeri barocchi farnesiani”. Inoltre la festa del matrimonio di Odoardo Farnese è stata presentata nella mostra nel Museo di Fondazione Cariparma presso il Palazzo Bossi Bocchi.
L’evento artistico vuole collegare Parma e Venezia – due città di grande importanza artistica – anche nel tempo presente. Il rapporto fra l’arte e l’ambiente oggi è fondamentale. L’elemento “ACQUA” apre un dibattito sul nostro futuro. L’arte può e deve essere uno strumento di valorizzazione importantissimo per il nostro patrimonio ambientale e culturale
Simonetta Gorreri parmigiana d’origine, presidente di ARTLIFE for the World, è ideatrice e curatrice di mostre ambientali. Fra cui ricordiamo l’importante ARTELAGUNA ’95 nel Bacino di San Marco sotto la direzione di Jean Clair, in occasione del Centenario della Biennale Arti Visive e la recente mostra per il Palladio “CASA di VITA / armonia del tempo” realizzata nel 2019 a Villa di Maser TV.
