SYART SORRENTO FESTIVAL
SyArt Sorrento Festival is a mix of ideas, emotions and dreams, a festival dedicated to contemporary artists from all over the world.
The Kermesse is hosted, every year, in the wonderful location of Villa Fiorentino, home of the Fondazione Sorrento, a place where history, traditions, art and culture interact with the guest. SyArt Sorrento Festival is part of the Sorrento Foundation’s international events and hosts events and encounters to animate the exhibition days. The didactic, fundamental activity, affects many local schools, but also national and foreign institutes, attracting the attention of students from all over the world. There are also training sessions for foreign and Italian students.
Some of the art works selected at the Event will be exhibited during the year in Syart-space, a gallery linked to the event, located at the entrance of the Villa Comunale di Sorrento, one of the most impressive place of the city.
The Event is a showcase for contemporary artists and an opportunity for dialogue, opening, communication and connection young artists and historical international names.
In order to guarantee democratic visibility and a broad cultural offer, the list of participants is renewed with each edition.
During the kermesse site-specific works are carried out.
Terms ADMISSION SyArt SORRENTO FESTIVAL
REGISTRATIONS
Applicants must send photographic material, website address, social network pages, any catalogues and publications to make known their artistic production within 14th March at midnight to info@syart.it with subject: SYART 2022 SELECTION. The submission of the request is valid as an application. The selected artists will be contacted by March 28 2022.
If selected because they fall within the guidelines of the art direction, they will be admitted to exhibit at the SyArt Festival. At a later stage, they will send the photographic and informative material according to the required parameters.
Participants may also propose exhibitions at the SyART Gallery, subject to the favorable opinion of the art direction.
Participation is free of charge, the artists pay the shipping cost in wooden box covered by insurance.
LOCATION AND DATES
The international event SyArt Sorrento Festival will take place in the summer of 2022 at the prestigious “Villa Fiorentino – FONDAZIONE SORRENTO”, in Corso Italia n° 53, Sorrento (NA). WORKS OF ART
The number and size of works to be exhibited must be agreed with the art direction. The decision of the works of art to be exhibited therefore remains at the sole discretion of the art direction.
SALE
The artists will be able to have for sale their works on display. The Gallery will follow the artist in the promotion and sale of their works.
EXHIBITION SERVICES
Official catalogue of the event in Italian and English languages. Multilingual staff to welcome guests and guided tours.
Web invitations, advertising posters, graphic promotion and communication. Free storage for works of art.
Assistance with customs procedures, international shipments and local transports. Care of the installations and labeling of the works.
Opening cocktail.
Video and photo reportage.
Dedicated web page www.syart.it and press release. National and local press office.
SHIPMENT OF WORKS
The shipping of the works of art and their expense is the responsibility of the artist. We accepted only shipment in wooden box.
The works may be delivered personally or by a delegate by appointment.
AUTHORIZATION
The artists authorize the use of their personal data for exhibition and promotional purposes and declare, for all legal purposes, to be the authors of the works that will be exhibited and owners of the photos and texts that will send for communication.
INDEMNITY AND ACCEPTANCE
The artists included indemnify SyART, the artistic direction and the entire organization from any civil and criminal liability for damage and / or theft to the works on display.
For any legal dispute the competent court will be that of Torre Annunziata (Na). The adhesion implies the unconditioned acceptance of the present regulation.
Membership implies unconditional acceptance of this regulation.
