La Galerie Zink Waldkirchen presenta Klaas Kloosterboer (NL), Anna Leonhardt (DE) e Yusuke Komuta (JPN) in una serie consecutiva di mostre personali nell’inverno e nella primavera del 2023/24, esaminando così in modo esemplare un aspetto importante della pittura astratta contemporanea.

Attraverso la riduzione della bidimensionalità e l’illusione del colore, c’è già un’estrema separazione tra la pittura e la realtà raffigurata. Se si compiono altri passi, ci si allontana sempre di più da qualsiasi forma di rappresentazione. Così come ogni quadro è astratto, anche ogni quadro segue un concetto. Seguendo questo percorso, si passa dall’espressionismo astratto alla pittura concettuale degli anni Sessanta e Settanta, fino alla pittura radicale degli anni Ottanta.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”99090″][vc_column_text]La figurazione sembra essere onnipresente nell’arte contemporanea. Ciò ha spinto la Galerie Zink a cercare posizioni artistiche che si muovono e si affermano al di là di queste tendenze. Per questo motivo, per la serie di mostre “Aspects” sono stati selezionati una pittrice e due pittori per illuminare gli aspetti della pittura astratta di oggi. La Galerie Zink è consapevole che questo settore può essere esaminato solo in modo esemplare ed estremamente frammentario, ma desidera comunque fare una dichiarazione a favore di uno sguardo nuovo sulle tendenze astratte della pittura di oggi.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”99081″][vc_column_text]Per Klaas Kloosterboer (NL), il processo di pittura è il fulcro della sua definizione di pittura. Egli esplora le possibilità di creare un “quadro” in varie direzioni: spruzza, dipinge, vernicia la tela, taglia, cuce o imbottisce la tela con la paglia. Galerie Zink Waldkirchen is showing Klaas Kloosterboer (NL), Anna Leonhardt (DE) and Yusuke Komuta (JPN) in a consecutive series of solo exhibitions in winter and spring 2023/24, exploring a significant aspect of contemporary abstract painting.

Through the reduction to two-dimensionality and the illusion of color, an extreme separation of painting and the depicted reality already takes place. If you take these steps further, you increasingly distance yourself from any form of representation. Just as every painting is abstract, every painting also follows a concept. If you follow this path, you move from abstract expressionism to the conceptual painting of the 1960s and 70s and on to the radical painting of the 1980s.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”99089″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes”][vc_column_text]Figuration seems to be omnipresent in contemporary art. This has prompted Galerie Zink to look for artistic positions that move and assert themselves beyond these trends. For this reason, one female painter and two male painters have been selected for the exhibition series “Aspects” to shed light on aspects of abstract painting today. Galerie Zink is aware that this area can only be examined in an exemplary and extremely incomplete manner, but nevertheless wishes to make a statement for a fresh look at abstract tendencies in painting today.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”99080″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]For Klaas Kloosterboer (NL), the process of painting is the core of his definition of painting. He explores the possibilities of creating a “picture” in various directions: he sprays, paints, varnishes the canvas, cuts, sews or stuffs the canvas with straw.
