Il Festival, che quest’anno si terrà dal 24 al 26 novembre per abbracciare la Giornata Internazionale contro la violenza sulle donne, è la prima manifestazione in Italia che dà voce a relatrici donne, a confronto con i grandi temi della contemporaneità. Generazioni diverse di scienziate, politiche, economiste, imprenditrici, attiviste, scrittrici, artiste e ambientaliste si incontrano a L’Eredità delle Donne. Il festival dedicato all’empowerment femminile vuole raccontare la contemporaneità attraverso le sue protagoniste, per riscoprire il ruolo che le donne hanno avuto e continuano ad avere nei diversi campi del sapere e della società, e contribuire così al progresso e all’eredità che lasceremo alle generazioni future.

Per questa occasione l’associazione Toscanalab arte e arteterapia di Firenze associazione che promuove il benessere della persona e che si occupa di offrire esperienze alla scoperta del processo creativo, selezionata dalla call del festival offrirà l’opportunità di incontrare la ricerca dell’artista Beatrice Bartolozzi e del gruppo di lavoro che con lei ha creato l’opera Mi Ri-CUCIO.

Beatrice si definisce una piccola Sherazade, una tessitrice di storie, le accoglie per dar loro la voce. Crede nel valore e nel potere catartico della narrazione, sia come strumento di cura che di relazione. Nella sua ricerca artistica utilizza diverse modalità e linguaggi concentrandosi su opere relazionali e mappature sentimentali. L’arte tessile, i lavori femminili come il ricamo diventano, quindi, uno strumento di relazione.

Il progetto è nato con l’esigenza di “ricucire” una nuova pelle attraverso la condivisione di storie per creare una mappatura sentimentale/narrativa che parte dalla figura della donna come generatrice e curatrice e tocca i temi della trasformazione, della libertà, della consapevolezza di sé lavorando sul concetto di abito come seconda pelle.

I partecipanti hanno contribuito all’arricchimento della mappa sentimentale con una storia per loro significativa.

​​Alla fine del progetto è stato creato un mantello double face ed un abito che contengono le immagini simboliche e una mappatura sentimentale del percorso narrativo che indica il nostro viaggio e quello delle storie. I fili sono la traccia delle nuove relazioni intessute.

L’opera sarà presentata con una performance di Elisa Zadi ed un’installazione sonora a cura di Stefano De Ponti.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The festival, which this year will be held Nov. 24-26 to embrace the International Day Against Violence Against Women, is the first event in Italy to give voice to female speakers, confronting major contemporary issues. Different generations of female scientists, politicians, economists, entrepreneurs, activists, writers, artists and environmentalists meet at L’Eredità delle Donne. The festival dedicated to women’s empowerment aims to tell the story of contemporaneity through its protagonists, to rediscover the role women have had and continue to have in the different fields of knowledge and society, and thus contribute to the progress and legacy we will leave to future generations.

For this occasion, the Toscanalab art and art therapy association in Florence, an association that promotes the well-being of the person and is involved in offering experiences to discover the creative process, selected from the festival’s call will offer the opportunity to meet the research of artist Beatrice Bartolozzi and the working group that created the work Mi Ri-CUCIO with her.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”98836″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_single_image image=”98839″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]Beatrice calls herself a little Sherazade, a weaver of stories, welcoming them to give them a voice. She believes in the value and cathartic power of storytelling, both as a healing and relational tool. She uses different modalities and languages in her artistic research, focusing on relational works and sentimental mappings. Textile art, women’s works such as embroidery become, therefore, an instrument of relationship.

The project was born with the need to “stitch” a new skin through the sharing of stories in order to create a sentimental/narrative mapping that starts from the figure of the woman as generator and curator and touches on the themes of transformation, freedom, and self-awareness by working on the concept of dress as a second skin.

Participants contributed to the enrichment of the sentimental map with a story meaningful to them.

At the end of the project, a double-face cloak and a dress were created containing the symbolic images and a sentimental mapping of the narrative path indicating our journey and that of the stories.
